Facilities
The Department has several modern fully equipped computer laboratories with up to date hardware and software, dedicated computer network with its own database. All computers are networked and linked to high-speed dedicated Internet access. The Department has an extensive range of generic PC based software for conducting various laboratories. The Department also has ongoing Smart Class Room. Dedicated class rooms are there for each year of students. Computer support services are designed to provide students with help, advice and full assistance in their coursework that includes following laboratories.

Prastuti, a pre-placement program for B.Tech IT students
Prastuti, a pre-placement program for B.Tech IT students of Future Institute of Engineering and Management Sonarpur, was conducted on March 9th, 2022. The program was aimed at preparing the students for their upcoming placement drives and was organized by the faculty members of the IT Department. The program covered a wide range of topics such as Data Structure and Algorithm, DBMS, etc. technical skills along with communication skills to equip the students with the knowledge and tools required for their professional careers. The faculty members shared their expertise and experiences with the students, providing valuable insights and guidance. Prastuti was a great opportunity for the students to learn and develop themselves for their future careers.
