It is my privilege to welcome you to Future Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata (FIEM), a distinguished institute for engineering education which is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal.
From the inception, FIEM has been committed to provide quality engineering education to its students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The evolution of the institute over the past two decades has witnessed strong blend of state-of-the-art infrastructure adequately supported by human resource committed to provide professional education with a thrust on innovation and holistic development. The assets of the Institute include a team of academically enlightened and dedicated faculty members qualified from premier universities in the country, excellent computing facilities, Language Laboratories, state-of-the-art Central Library, well-equipped departmental laboratories with latest configurations, smart class rooms, plagiarism software and reputed engineering journals.
Our students are always encouraged to participate in various National and International competitions like Smart lndia Hackathons, competitive coding, International Conferences, technical workshops jointly organized with reputed universities. They have won many awards and accolades from these events and have made us proud by standing tall in knowledge and application in today’s challenging world. The campus provides adequate sports infrastructure to take care of sports and recreational activities. There is also ample scope for co-curricular and extracurricular activities at FIEM wherein the students are encouraged to show their talents and participate in different clubs-Cultural, Technical, Sports, Film and Photography. The Institute ensures that its students prove themselves to be not only qualified engineers but also responsible citizens of our country and become competent leaders.
FIEM has a very strong training and placement cell which makes necessary arrangements to groom our students on soft skills, advanced technical classes, communication and personality development and different mock aptitude tests. Majority of our students are placed in various MNCs like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Mindtree, Tata Consultancy Services, Amazon, Deloitte, Wipro Technologies, Infosys, Capgemini, Bentley, ITC Infotech etc to name a few. From the genesis of this institute over 22 years ago, our students have shown their excellence in the field of technology with above 10,000 alumni members working in both India and abroad at different senior positions.
