One day seminar on Emerging Industrial Challenges of Electrical Engineering-2022
Department of electrical engineering has been initiated to organise a seminar for the students to increase the awareness about the challenges that will have to take as an electrical engineer in the industries. This seminar was given an exposure to the students on the various types of job opportunities in the industries and how they will prepare themselves for achieving their goal.

ProjEEction’18 Summer Session
In the continuation of ProjEEction’17, ProjEEction’18 Summer Session is organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering. Once again the enthusiastic students of the department have come up with fifteen based on both simulation and hardware setup. The modern technological demonstrators showcased several application domains like Neural Network, Digital Image Processing, IoT, Fault detection and many more. The top three projects of ProjEEtion’18 are
i) Autonomous water supply to the plant
ii) Smart power distribution and billing system
iii) IOT based Monitoring and Controlling of DC motor

Two Day Seminar on Computational Intelligence in Engineering Application 2017 (CIEA’17)
Computational Intelligence is based on the ability of a computer to learn a specific task from data or experimental observation. The commonly considered synonym of Computational Intelligence is soft computing. Hence Computational Intelligence in Engineering Application 2017 (CIEA’17) is two days seminar is organized annually by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Future Institute of Engineering and Management. The objective of the seminar is to motivate the young engineering minds and introducing them to the modern day tools to solve the real life problems using Computational Intelligence. The valuable lectures on the topics are delivered by the eminent professors from several esteemed educational institutes like Jadavpur University, Raja Bazar Science College, IIST Shibpur and more.
ProjEEtion’17
ProjEEction’17 Department of Electrical Engineering, Future Institute of Engineering and Management has taken an initiative to encourage young engineering minds towards project based learning. Engineering is an application based domain where theoretical knowledge demands real time validation for better grooming of students to prepare them in favor of professional exposure after completion of degree course. The competition is organized bi-annually among the students of Electrical Engineering Department. The top three projects of ProjEEction’17 are
i) IoT based tracking and controlling of a smart car
ii) Smart Helmet
iii) Smart Power monitoring system
